Chad Dasher, Executive Director
Chad has been with WCDC since 1999 and has been the agencies Executive Director since 2005. As executive director, he is responsible for all WCDC operations. Chad is a graduate of Cleveland State University with a B.A. in Urban Studies; he is also a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a graduate of Neighborhood Leadership Cleveland.
Gretchen Moore, Commercial Director
Gretchen joined WCDC in 2003 after 4 years working for the State of Ohio. She handles all business-related issues including small business start-up and expansion, zoning, development, commercial rehabilitation, code enforcement and Storefront Renovation. She is also the Project Manager for the Variety Theatre Restoration Project.
Peggy Kearsey, Housing Director
Peggy joined Westown in April 2007 and assists residents in understanding the City of Cleveland housing code while getting them tied into to local resources to help them make necessary repairs. She will be leading the residential rehabilitation projects that WCDC will be starting in 2008. Prior to coming to Westown Peggy worked on several community organizing and legislative initiatives around Ohio. Peggy attended Kent State University and studied Political Science.
Tom Keating, Residential Services Coordinator
Tom has been administering home repair programs at WCDC since 2000. Prior to WCDC, Tom was a Program Manager with the United Labor Agency and has worked with and is a member of the Pipe Fitters Local 120.
Bob Zak, Community Liaison I
Bob has been connecting local residents with resources to assist them with crime prevention, neighborhood safety and housing related issues through Block Club meetings since 1996. Bob retired after 30 years with the Cleveland Police Department prior to joining WCDC.
Rosalyn Hill, Community Liaison II
Roz was originally assigned to WCDC through the Senior Employment Center in 2004 and was brought on as a WCDC staff member in 2005. Roz plays a critical role in linking residents to appropriate programs.
Arlene Hufford, Program Coordinator
Arlene has been administering projects and programs at WCDC since March 2006. She is responsible for administering the free paint program and working with service area residents on specialized grant programs and projects.
Don Walsh, Services Coordinator
Don has been with WCDC since July 2009 and supervises the Court Community Service work program as well as other neighborhood service related projects and volunteer initiatives. Prior to joining WCDC, Don worked as a Corrections Officer with Cuyahoga County.
Janine Colozza, Project Manager
Janine joined WCDC in March 2010 as the Project Manager for the Variety Theatre and Lorain Avenue Master Plan. Prior to joining WCDC, Janine was a Development Consultant for various non-profit agencies in the greater Cleveland area as well as a Senior Project Manager for Neighborhood Progress, Inc.
