| COMMUNITY ORGANIZING can be defined as... a process in which people are brought together in pursuit of a common agenda. Community Organizers create social movements by building a base of concerned people, mobilizing these community members to act, and to develop leadership and relationships among the people involved.
FACILITATE can be defined as... a way to make easier, be of use to and increase the likelihood of a response to issues and inquiries. Westown CDC staff is here to assist in facilitating the Block Club meetings. Block Club members and leadership determine the issues discussed at their meetings.
